On June 2, 2010, the Securities and Stock Market State Commission (SSMSC), with its Decision No. 724, included Mrs. Natalia Dotsenko-Belous, Senior Associate of Vasil Kisil & Partners, as a member of its Expert Advisory Board.

The Securities and Stock Market State Commission’s Expert Advisory Board (the “Board”) is an advisory body that was formed by the Securities and Stock Market State Commission to ensure the development of the national securities market policy and prepare draft laws to enable the stock market development and operation in accordance with international standards.

The Board includes representatives of the SSMSC, public organizations, professional stock market operators, law firms, scientific institutions, and international organizations that are directly related to the implementation of the stock market policy. Vasil Kisil & Partners has its representative on the Board, namely Ms. Anna Babych, firm’s Counsellor, who is actively involved in the process of reforming and improving the securities and stock market law.

Mrs. Natalia Dotsenko-Belous is acknowledged as a competent securities professional who regularly participates in securities law improvement efforts. Natalia herself developed a set of provisions regarding the use of mortgage bonds, options, and stock derivatives in conjunction with the Ukrainian Construction Association, Ukrainian National Mortgage Association, and the SSMSC. In particular, in 2009, Mrs. Dotsenko-Belous developed a draft Law of Ukraine “On the State Regulation of Rating Services Market”, draft decisions of the SSMSC governing the issue and circulation of mortgage notes, mortgage bonds, infrastructure bonds, and state housing certificates.
