Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm acted as legal advisor to the world-renowned Google Inc. Corporation in a number of disputes, to protect the rights to trademarks and commercial name for the domain google.ua.

This complex project included, among other things, the representation of client in general and economic courts in disputes on invalidation of trademark certificates, the invalidation of the decision of the State Department of Intellectual Property, and putting a stop to the violation of the intellectual property rights to trade marks and business name.

As a result of VKP's lawyers’ legal actions domain google.ua was removed from under the control of persons who illegally seized the domain name. Further more, domain google.ua was delegated in care of Google Inc. Company and, thus, the latter obtained the opportunity to manage the specified domain.
