In 2006 he received a certificate to practice law and advocacy from the Kyiv City Bar Association Disciplinary and Qualification Committee.
In July 2009 – June 2011, Stelmashchuk was a counsellor with the litigation practice of the firm. The main areas of Andriy’s specialization include tax litigation, corporate disputes, disputes in the field of competition law, as well as disputes in the field of banking and financial activities.
Andriy is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA).
Mr. Stelmashchuk is one of the most active mentors of the Students League of the Ukrainian Bar Association. He frequently serves on the judge panel of various Ukrainian competitions on business law and process named after Professor S. Z. Mikhaylin, the all-Ukrainian judicial debate on civil law and process in honor of Stanislav Dnestryanskiy, and he is a lecturer at the Ukrainian law schools on Commercial Litigation.
During his time with Vasil Kisil & Partners law firm Mr. Stelmashchuk gained recognition among our colleagues, and his professional achievements are marked by a number of national rating publications.
The publication "Ukrainian Law Firms. A Handbook for Foreign Clients" repeatedly mentioned his litigation skills and professional approach. In particular, the 2010 edition especially noted Andriy as an experienced professional in the areas of administrative proceedings and antitrust law.
